[versão em português logo abaixo]
I never know exactly how it starts. Or why. Yet it comes,
sometimes - gradually in the beginning, just to soon burst open-wound at
once.
: a feeling of closure that takes my entire body hostage,
the oh so real feeling that my chest is turning into a cage, stone, piece
of wood. Difficulty to breathe,
cold sweat, fast heartbeat, lungs contracted (so tight). But not
only the body: just like that ancient kind of torture in which the victim’s
limbs are stretched by 4 horses going in distinct directions, in these days these strangely
violent thoughts flood me and it's them and only them, you’ve always known you’d lose your
mind, you’ve always been all over the place, remember you're a cold lost
soul perfectly tailored for hurting yourself and others, merciless wanderer who leaves everyone and everything behind. Then
shame, guilt and frustration for feeling that all.
Every piece heightened, every move a check mate, convulsion all parts
of me at its most painful altogether. I’ve had it
in my first three days here nonstop. But it still keeps coming sometimes, and
now I’m learning to be quiet when I feel their synchronized explosion inside. I’m learning to cope
with the physical pain and to watch thoughts as if they were the storm and I
was the one surviving it in a tiny little boat. But
now I know that at some point it all goes away. Now I know that they come on short notice and
from nowhere and that they can seem real and permanent. I’m still frightened when I
feel the lack of air, but I don’t stop any of it – bring it all I'm not (so) afraid let me touch and play out the best and the worst let me know you because I’m you half half let me be you playing let me contain you, love you, feel you
all, don't spare me now let me be the soccer field where you are and I am not I’m both you and you not still and accepting the sole space where
you exist bare pure unborn thin nothing air.
So some days in Sahaja feel like living hell. What’s Sahaja,
then? - someone invisible injects huge doses of poison in my veins at once as
to show me I’ve spent an entire life chocking.
*The sun sets in Sahaja. July, 2014
* Between 24 June and 23 July I lived
in "Monte Sahaja", the ashram of my Guru in the southern region of
Portugal. This is the third of a series of journal entries I wrote when I
was living there and they'll be published here under the title "The
Sahaja Diaries", a sort of chapter in the wider landscape of my summer
diaries series.
All love and gratitude to Mooji-ji, in whose feet my head is always resting.
All love and gratitude to my friends of the Mooji sangha, whose presence I feel deeply in my heart wherever I am.

julho deste ano eu vivi no "Monte Sahaja", o ashram do meu guru no
publicadas aqui no blog sob o título "Os Diários do Sahaja". Eles fazem
